# Connect your Dotdigital data to Geckoboard

Learn how to connect to Dotdigital and begin visualizing your data.

1. Add a new Dotdigital widget from your dashboard.

2. Select a preset widget from the list.

3. Click **Connect via Dotdigital** on the connection panel and follow the steps on screen to connect.

1. If you haven't already, you'll need to [generate an API user and password](https://developer.dotdigital.com/docs#setting-up-your-api-user) for Geckoboard.

4. Complete the widget configuration as preferred, then **select Add to dashboard.**
