# Connect your GitHub data to Geckoboard

Learn how to connect to GitHub and begin visualizing your data.

1. Add a new GitHub widget from your dashboard.
2. Select a preset widget from the list.
3. **Click Connect via GitHub** on the connection panel and follow the steps on screen to connect.
4. Complete the widget configuration as preferred, then **select Add to dashboard**.
