# Connect your StatusCake data to Geckoboard

Learn how to connect to StatusCake and begin visualizing your data.

1. Add a new StatusCake widget from your dashboard.

2. Select a preset widget from the list.

3. **Click** **Connect** on the connection panel and follow the steps on screen to connect. You will need the following credentials to connect:

1. Username
   2. StatusCake [API Key](https://www.statuscake.com/api/The%20Basics/Authentication.md)

4. Complete the widget configuration as preferred, then **click Add widget.**
