# Connect your Dixa data to Geckoboard

Steps to connect directly to Dixa to access your data.

1. After adding a new **Dixa** widget from your dashboard, give your connection a name to differentiate it from any accounts you add later on.

2. Next, enter your **API Token**. This is required by Geckoboard to access your **Dixa** account. You can create an API token by [following the documentation](https://docs.dixa.io/docs/tutorial-create-an-api-token/).
