# Connect your QuickBooks Online data to Geckoboard

Steps to connect directly to QuickBooks Online to access your data.

1. Add a new QuickBooks Online widget from your dashboard.

2. Click Create dataset beside **Invoices**.

3. Click the Connect via QuickBooks Online button.

4. In the pop up window, login to your QuickBooks Online account. Follow the steps to create a connection and authenticate your account.

5. After you return to the connection panel, click Create widget to start creating your QuickBooks Online widget. **Note:** we show sales only and not credit notes.
