## SQL-Datasets

[SQL-Datasets](https://developer.geckoboard.com/sql-datasets) is a command line app developed by Geckoboard to easily connect your database data to Geckoboard via the [Datasets API](https://developer.geckoboard.com/). This feature is included in all pricing plans, ensuring accessibility for all users regardless of their subscription level.

The SQL-Dataset functionality ensures your database credentials are maintained exclusively on your system.

Data sent to Geckoboard this way can then be visualized on a dashboard through Datasets. The SQL-Dataset utility can run on [Windows, Mac, or Linux](https://developer.geckoboard.com/sql-datasets) and supports the following Database types:

- Microsoft SQL Server
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- SQLite

## Supermetrics

With Supermetrics you can easily schedule automatic synchronizations between your database(s) and Google Sheets. Once in Google Sheets, you can visualize this data on Geckoboard through [Spreadsheets](https://support.geckoboard.com/en/articles/6055516-optimize-your-spreadsheet-for-geckoboard).
