## How to fix this error

This error commonly occurs on devices with insufficient memory or processing power. Check that your device meets our [recommended hardware](https://support.geckoboard.com/en/articles/6055736-recommended-computer-devices-for-displaying-geckoboard-on-a-tv) for displaying a dashboard.

If your dashboard displays **"Geckoboard failed to start. Please refresh the page to try again"**, this is typically a browser cache issue.

1. **Try a hard refresh first** (press Ctrl+F5 on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
