# Connect your SendGrid data to Geckoboard

Learn how to connect SendGrid and begin visualizing your data, and what permissions are required.

1. Add a new SendGrid widget from your dashboard.

2. Select a preset widget from the list.

3. Click **Connect via SendGrid** on the connection panel and follow the steps on screen to connect. You will need the following credentials to connect:
   
   1. **API Key with Read Access permissions.** You can find the API in SendGrid in Settings > API Keys. The minimum necessary permissions are a Restricted Access key with Stats set to Read Access.

4. Complete the widget configuration as preferred, then **select Add widget.**
