[**Slack notifications can now be set up on all data sources**](/content/updates/198/index.html)

We’ve made [Notifications](/content/product/kpi-notifications/index.html) available for all our data sources. Now you and your team can get alerted in Slack when important numbers change, wherever your data is coming from - including spreadsheets!

To set a notification up, you’ll first need to add a status indicator to a number or gauge widget. Then just follow the simple steps to connect Slack and choose a channel you want to get notified in.
